Passionate for cooking since the age of twelve, Bruno Oger is one of the most talented, most creative and most promising promoters of French “cuisine”.

 

Originating from Morbihan, Brittany, the star chef now based in the Cote d’Azur, proposes delicate, imaginative, refined, perfumed, Mediterranean dishes from fresh local produce.

A “cuisine” with taste offering passion and pleasure to his clients.

 

After 14 years in the hotel industry, Bruno Oger can't wait to start his own project.  Charmed by the Côte d'Azur, he and his family decide to start their own business.  In Cannet, he finds an old building of the 18th century, listed as a monument, located on a wooded site of 5000 m².  “I wanted to stay close to La Croisette and maintain my strong connection to the Cannes Festival.”

 

In May 2010, La Bastide Bruno Oger opens its doors, with three different concepts under one roof: a gourmet restaurant with 26 seats and the charm of a mansion, an informal bistro for 110 people and a chic but relaxed bar area.  “My wife plays an essential role.  She sets the tone for the design and concepts of the different areas.  She has an eye for all details of the day-to-day business and tests all dishes when the seasonal menu changes.”

 

The exclusive dishes of the gastronomic restaurant, which has since been awarded two stars, are also served outside on the terrace in the shade of beautiful trees.  The bistro's menu offers a choice between 8 starters and 8 seasonal dishes.  “It is a Provencal cuisine with light dishes that suit the region and our guests, such as a Salade Riviera with lightly grilled tuna!”
