CHEFS’ by Lise Timmer is growing!

Besides his job as Executive Chef at Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara, Luke Borg is joining us as a Consultant - Culinary Director and will support our International gastronomic events and projects.

Luke Borg was born and raised in Malta.

In 2012 he graduated with a master in Gastronomy from the university of Malta and in 2014 he was named European chef of the year by Euro-Toques and WACS organizations in a competition held between all European countries with 300 participants around the EU.

After some work experiences in 2 star restaurants, Luke went abroad to continue building his further career.

Here he mainly acted as Executive Chef for several major hospitality brands like Anantara.

Luke is one of the most driven and inspiring chefs that I recently met. He is fast, witty, with a keen eye for detail, solution-oriented and extensive knowledge of the culinary world. He has great people skills and a natural capacity to bring out the best in everyone.
