At CHEFS' by Lise Timmer, who we are is just as important as what we do.

Our team is a talented mix of dedicated, dynamic individuals with love for food and depth in their respective areas of expertise. Besides that, they bring energy, fresh ideas and pride to their work.

Together, we are  living the culinary  mission and creating the most powerful and creative solutions for our clients every day.

Lise Timmer

CEO | Founder

Raised in The Netherlands, Lise lives and works in France.

Having started her career in marketing & communications, she followed her passion for gastronomy and made the French culinary world her second home. After France, the rest of the world followed.

Acclaimed for her professionalism and great personal values, Lise has, over the last 18 years, established friendships with hundreds of chefs around the world. She has a broad experience of organising events and her expertise lies with her ability to match her clients’ expectations with her chefs’ aspirations. Lise is a mother and a cook, a recipe creator, an author, a food writer, a culinary critic, a judge and a consultant.​

Pierre Gagnaire, the famous French 3 Michelin starred chef, recently said about her: “I recommend Lise without hesitation. The events she organised for us were always of a very high quality. Her sense of detail is precious as it allows us to come as close as possible to the expectations of her clients. Furthermore, she always strives to ensure each event is an experience for all who take part.”

Luke Borg

Culinary Director

Luke is one of the most driven professional chefs that I recently met. He is fast, witty, with a keen eye for detail, extensive knowledge of the culinary world. He has great people skills and a natural capacity to bring out the best in everyone. 

Together with Luke, we organized and executed the first and second editions of the Al Baleed Food Festival 2021 in Oman with several International Michelin Star chefs.

Brice Goeman Borgesius

Senior Project Manager

Brice is not unknown in the world of gastronomy. Since his early years he has been visiting International Michelin starred restaurants where he not only came as a young guest, but also was regularly asked to ‘work’ in the kitchen. Let's just say it's in his DNA!

Apart from the efficient and professional way of planning and executing events, Brice is a wonderful person to work with; inspiring, creative and with a great personality. Combine that with great organizational skills and his passion for food and you have all the ingredients for high standing events.

Brice graduated for Business Economy at the University of Applied Sciences.

Suzanne Kouwenhoven

Director of Operations

Suzanne  and I extensively worked together on various International food related projects for high-end brands.

I thoroughly enjoy working with her and she is a truly valuable asset to absolutely any team and project.

Suzanne  is an incredibly hard-working person with a perfect understanding of the culinary world. Her enthusiasm and people skills makes her a true asset on the workfloor.

Beyond that, she is hands-on and result driven.
